The Sunflower Foundation is pleased to announce two new Requests for Proposals (RFPs).
Capacity Building Grants (RFP 09-104) - to help build the capacity of health-related nonprofit organizations to improve effectiveness, impact and sustainability.
Sunflower Trails Grants (RFP 09-105) - to help promote physical activity by building community-based and school-based walking trails.
Both RFPs offer two application deadlines:
Tuesday, May 19, 2009 (notice of awards by June 30, 2009); or
Thursday, September 10, 2009 (notice of awards by October 31, 2009).

The foundation will host application briefings via telephone to discuss and answer questions about the RFPs on April 24, 28, 29 & 30, 2009. Participation by potential applicants is encouraged. Details on the call schedule and call-in instructions are also available at the link above.
