Topeka Metro is accepting applications for a Part-time Custodian.  This position is responsible for all custodial cleaning duties for the building facilities and fleet vehicles when necessary.  Applicants must have a valid driver's license, be at least 18 years of age, able to pass a background check, drug screen and physical, and be available to work evening hours.  Prior custodial experience is preferred.

Bus Operator

Topeka Metro is accepting applications for Bus Operators to provide safe and courteous public transit service.  Full-time and Part-time positions are available.

Minimum Qualifications and Requirements:

*  Possess or ability to obtain a Class B CDL with air brakes and passenger endorsements
*  Able to pass a DOT physical
*  Able to pass a background check and pre-employment drug screen
*  Able to operate all revenue vehicles in fleet
*  Knowledge of or ability to learn city streets and bus routes
*  Able to work various shifts, including split shifts, weekends, and overtime when required
*  High school diploma or GED required
*  Verifiable steady work history
*  Training wage: $10.89/hr.; After 30 months: $18.15/hr.
