Purpose – Support economic vitality for the state and individuals and improve the competitive position of Kansas' companies by providing a highly qualified workforce.

Deliverable – A system of industry-endorsed, third party credentials used by Kansas businesses to standardize the skills and knowledge workers bring to the labor marketplace. The system is offered through a network of secondary education, postsecondary education, the public workforce system and Department for Children and Families and serves to "lean up" the human resources processes for companies saving them time and money. To make the system work, it is essential that businesses understand the importance of the credentials and how to use them in their hiring process.
