Kansas Volunteer Commission Seeking Requests For Proposals: 2014-2015 Kansas AmeriCorps



Good afternoon,
 
The Kansas Volunteer Commission is pleased to announce that we are currently accepting applications for the 2014-2015 AmeriCorps program year!
 
All application materials and resources have been posted to www.KanServe.com <http://www.KanServe.com>  or by clicking here. <http://www.ksde.org/Default.aspx?tabid=4561>
 
Please note the following timeline:
 
·        Letters of Intent (required) due: October 21, 2013

·        All applications and supporting materials due: November 14, 2013

o  Please note that the KVC is only accepting one round of applications and will determine Competitive and Formula applicants from this pool of applications

o  Please review the RFP for additional information

·        Technical Assistance Webinars:

o  The KVC will host three technical assistance webinars that will cover three different areas of the application.

Please note that application materials are made available from documents provided by the Corporation for National and Community Service (CNCS).  Currently, all application materials are in draft form, however, it is anticipated that the KVC will release final forms of application materials with the date the update(s) was made, before the due date of November 14, 2013.  IF, this is not the case, the KVC does reserve the right to extend the deadline.  Please note, however, that the KVC does not expect any significant changes to the applications materials, and strongly encourages applicants to begin the process of writing their grant application sooner rather than later.
