Human Resources Representative

This is a junior HR generalist position. The individual in this position will provide assistance and support to HR leadership in the functional areas of HR (recruiting, employee relations, HRIS, performance management, training and development, payroll and total rewards.) Assist the department with developing, implementing and maintaining HR plans, programs, projects, reporting and compliance. Provide research support for reports, special projects and presentations. Serve as the first point of support to business partners with HR related issues and questions.

 

Qualifications

·         Bachelor’s degree in HR, business or related field required and one to three years of relevant.

·         General understanding of HR processes and procedures.

·         Ability to perform detailed work in a timely manner with accuracy and thoroughness, in an environment with multiple distractions.

·         Excellent communication skills, verbal and written.

·         Excellent computer skills including database management and record keeping including MS Office products including Outlook, Word, Access, Excel, PowerPoint and SharePoint. Experience with Crystal Reports helpful.

·         Good organization skills and the ability to multi-task.

·         The ability to use general office equipment.

IT Intern – Network Monitoring/Governance

This is a paid internship designed for a student to work part-time while completing their computer/information technology related education. The selected candidate must be available to work at least 4 hours per day Sunday through Friday.

 

The individual in this position will provide assistance to IT staff. Perform and document execution of proactive network element status and health checks as part of normal monitoring activities. Validate production network application, account and device changes are documented and authorized. Work with other IT staff, FHLBank staff, and vendors to resolve issues arising from network monitoring.

 

Qualifications

·         Completion of freshman year of college toward a computer related undergraduate or technical training is required.

·         Similar or related professional experience would be a plus.

·         Effective verbal and written communication skills.

·         Knowledge and proficient use of Microsoft Windows and MS Office applications including Word and Excel.

·         Ability to think orderly, logically and analytically, and strong problem solving skills.

·         Resourcefulness and creativity in the execution of job tasks.

·         Must be goal-oriented and have a strong sense of team solidarity.

·         Knowledge of the banking industry is a plus

·         Experience with Agile development methods is a plus.

IT Intern – Security/Governance

This is a paid internship designed for a student to work part-time while completing their computer/information technology related education. The selected candidate must be available to work at least 25 hours per week.

 

The individual in this position will assistance to IT staff. Perform and document security permission verifications, grant and verify permissions requested, follow up and resolve work order requests, perform security monitoring as needed, and set up and issue RSA tokens.  Work with the records manager to perform records management identification and organization tasks. Perform IT governance compliance reviews. Work with other IT staff, FHLBank staff, and vendors to resolve questions or requests.

 

 

Qualifications
