Social Services & Citywide Contracted Services Grants

Request for Proposals

The City of Topeka has issued a Request for Proposal (RFP) dated Monday, February 24, 2014 for applicants wishing to receive Social Service or Citywide Contracted Service funds. These funds are intended to increase the quantity and the quality of emergency assistance and preventive/counseling services for children and adults in Topeka. 

The U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development and the City of Topeka estimates providing approximately $632,000 in funding for these grants. Proposals will be judged on a competitive basis and grant awards will be for the 2015 fiscal year. 

Beginning Monday, February 24, 2014 the Request for Proposal (RFP) and application are available in hard copy or by email from the Department of Housing & Neighborhood Development (HND), 620 S.E. Madison St., 1st Floor Topeka, Kansas, 66607. 

Email versions may be requested in writing to Rachelle Vega-Retana at HND or to rvretana[@]topeka.org. 

Proposals are due no later than 5:00 p.m., Tuesday, April 8th
