The 2014 Kansas Conference on Poverty - Registration is now open...

The 2014 Kansas Conference on Poverty

As an anti-poverty conference, we stand on three legs: human service, social justice, and economic development. While it will feature intensive and impactful presentations, workshops, and networking, at its heart, this event is about people.

The hundreds of people in attendance will be advocates, policy makers, social workers, volunteers, government employees, program directors, CEOs, non-profit professionals, business owners, bankers, students; people who have seen firsthand the impact poverty has on our communities, our classrooms, our economies, our children; people who believe we can work together to make our communities and classrooms better and stronger; people who believe there are tools that will help us face poverty with a united front.

Joining the 2014 Agenda will be PBS Host & NYT Best Selling Author, Tavis Smiley Media, Lazone Grays from IBSA, Michael Liimatta with Connecting for Good, representatives from Wider Opportunities for Women, Broader, Bolder Education, and more...
