UWGT Grant Opportunity

Rent/Utility Assistance, and Prescription Assistance.

 

A Grant Information meeting will be held on Friday, January 23 from 4:00 to 5:00pm at the First Baptist Church Fellowship Hall at 404 Juniper Drive in Holton.

Cindy Rosebrook, Vice President of Community Impact with United Way, will be presenting information about the grants and will answer questions regarding the application forms and process. 

Please notify Cindy at cindy.rosebrook@unitedwaytopeka.org if you plan to attend to ensure there are enough materials available.

 

Grant Requirements

Services must be provided to Jackson County residents in Jackson County – not to Jackson County residents seeking services in other counties. The maximum funding request is $7500 and the minimum is $2000. 

If applying in more than one area, an application must be completed for each area.  See the attached application packet for full details and requirements.

To apply for funding:

1.       Agencies should complete the application form electronically (no handwritten applications).

2.       Applications can be emailed to cindy.rosebrook@unitedwaytopeka.org or faxed (785-273-2467) to United Way of Greater Topeka no later than 5 p.m. on February 6, 2015. 

 

Completed application must be received by UWGT no later than 5 p.m. on February 6, 2015.  Late or incomplete applications will not be considered for funding.
