The Sunflower Foundation is pleased to announce a new Sunflower Trails Request for Proposals (RFP).   Sunflower Trails (RFP 11-101) - Funding to improve the health of students, families and communities by offering support to build new or expanded public trails to increase the opportunity for physical activity.   Proposals in response to this RFP may be submitted through January 5, 2012 and will have two opportunities for consideration:     ·         For proposals submitted by 5:00 p.m., Tuesday, July 26, 2011 - funding announcements will be made by Friday, August 19, 2011. ·         For proposals submitted by 5:00 p.m., Thursday, January 5, 2012 (the final RFP deadline) - funding announcements will be made by Friday, February 17, 2012.
